23m Patrol Boat

The craft is intended to fulfil the role of a Patrol Craft, including such operations as patrol and  interdiction duties in coastal, river and port areas,  escort duties, protection against terrorism and search and rescue operations with a crew of 1 officer and 12 ratings. 

The vessel is a planing moderate vee, silent double chine mono-hull and is of proven form.  She will be subject to certification by internationally recognised classification society, Det Norske Veritas.

Powering is by twin diesel engines, each nominally rated at 1800 hp. The twin drivelines will be comprised of an in-line, close coupled transmission driving 900mm diameter 5 bladed propellers.

Two 25 kW generators are specified, supplying 230 volts single phase electrical power. The vessel will be fully air conditioned throughout the bridge, galley / wardroom and accommodation areas
